Fred Story (of Concentrix Music and Sound Design; www.concentrixmusic.com) recently composed and supervised the recording of “Kaleidoscope,” a score for a Charlotte, N.C., commercial at Abbey Road Studio 2. The 30-second spot was performed by the London Symphony Orchestra and produced by Spin Productions (Atlanta); other production credits include conductor David Snell, engineer Jonathan Allen and orchestrator Dr. Phil Thompson.

Commenting on the experience, Story said, “What composer wouldn't be thrilled to sit in Abbey Road Studios and hear the London Symphony perform their work? It makes you insanely anxious to do it again.”
