Chicago blues legend Eddy “The Chief” Clearwater recently tracked his forthcoming Bullseye Blues & Jazz/Rounder album (slated for Summer 2003 release) at Nashville-based Tone Chapparal Studio, the former home of classic country legend Jim Reeves. Produced by Jake Guralnick, the album features members of masked surf-rock combo Los Straitjackets, along with saxophonist Dennis Taylor and keyboardist Steve Conn. Studio owner and vintage guitar guru George Bradfude manned the console.
