Mix is gathering materials for Class of 2011, our annual photo spread showcasing the best of the best of this year’s expertly designed North American recording facilities.

Qualified facilities are ones that were either newly opened or substantially redesigned after March 2010. Please bear in mind that projects involving only new equipment installation or rewiring do not qualify for this particular feature and that in the selection process the quality of the image is of prime importance.

Please e-mail Sarah Benzuly a photo of the empty room (no people). We’re looking for high-quality photos that include the console and monitors and also non-control room shots of good-looking studios. 4x5 transparencies, digital images or slides are the best formats, but prints are acceptable, too, and the name of the photographer should be attached.

Please note that all materials must be received at the Mix offices by Friday, April 15, 2011.
