Aimed at portable recording for ENG or sampling, the DRM85 has a Sennheiser omni condenser capsule and stores audio on 1 GB of Flash memory built into the mic. It records in .WAV linear (48k/16-bit) or MPEG-1 Layer 2 files that can be transferred at up to 90x real time to a Mac or PC’s USB port, and runs six hours on two AA batteries.
