Panama City Beach, FL (August 10, 2026)—Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge has long been a part of Panama City Beach’s music scene, and reopened in May in a new location: a brand-new, three-story, beachfront entertainment complex. Sporting two stages and plenty of party attitude, the new site is a hit and has been putting its custom DAS Audio system to work nightly, supporting local musicians, touring acts, daily venue operations, and outdoor listening areas.

“The idea was to deliver live concert-level sound in a bar, something that really didn’t exist in Panama City Beach,” said Mark Zuckerman, production manager for Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge. Helping make that happen is a system based around DAS Audio’s ARA Series, purchased through GC Pro and designed by Zuckerman in close collaboration with DAS Audio, including Carlos Henao, Senior Sales Engineer.

The installation centers around SARA-100 line arrays, SARA-SUB and LARA-SUB subwoofers, ARA-M210 stage monitors, and ARA-P28 loudspeakers for front-fill and outdoor coverage.

“Everyone we talk to says it sounds incredible,” Zuckerman said. “The artists have had nothing but good things to say about it, and our production team has been impressed with how smoothly everything has run.”
