Initially designed for the military and dubbed the Matterhorn by Danley Sound Labs, this subwoofer is housed in a shipping container measuring 8x8x20 feet and generates 40,000 watts.
The Matterhorn reproduces program material in the frequency range of 15 to 80 Hz continuously through a system of 40 low-frequency drivers. Other specs include a -3dB measurement at 12 Hz and an SPL of 105 dB at 250 meters (just more than 270 yards).
