Biggleswade, UK (February 11, 2019)—Producer and engineer Stuart Epps, known for his work with Elton John, George Harrison, Bill Wyman, Paul Rodgers, Chris Rea and others, has been working with new artists around the world from his home base of Epps Music Productions.
During a career spanning more than 40 years, Stuart Epps has worked with many legendary musicians and for many years he was head engineer at Gus Dudgeon’s The Mill studios, which was later acquired by Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page. Epps subsequently managed Alvin Lee’s private Wheeler End studio, which Epps turned into a commercial residential recording facility.
Epps’ current studio in Cookham, Berkshire, is home to Epps Music Productions, a company that offers recording, mixing and mastering services to artists from all over the world.
“The internet has transformed my role as a producer because I can now work with artists in many different countries without having to leave my own studio,” Epps said. “A lot of the artists I work with are up and coming and my role is to offer them professional feedback and make sure they sound their best on everything from a demo recording through to a full studio production.”
With that in mind, he’s installed a pair of PMC result6 monitors, noting, “Having really good monitors is vital because I need to be 100 percent sure that I can hear everything going on in the mix. I also need to know that my mixes will translate well through whatever speakers they are being played back on. PMC’s result6 monitors give me this clarity and as soon as I heard them, I knew they were perfect for me.”
